War of the browsers

Wonder why i am changing the blog template every now and then??

Here's the reason why...I was experimenting with new browsers on my system...let me give you a rundown of the various browsers avaliable...

Losers start first in my listing....so a microsoft product starts first...

1. Internet Explorer : Well, what's so special about this browser...It is quite fast...renders everything well...asp scripts run like a breeze...but, the reason is obvious....microsoft have integrated windows explorer into it...so by the time Windows is booted and loaded as a Desktop, you already have some parts of IE running somewhere in the background...
So much so, if IE were to be paid software, it would be like having a cricket ground 10km under the sea....

er, well, what i was trying to say was no one would even go near it...

Subsequent browsers are not losers though!!

2. Mozilla: Originally, Netscape navigator was based on this browser...the name of the browser is derived from a Dragon
type 'about:mozilla' on a blank location bar and press enter...
Mozilla combines a Mail client, messenger and other useful tools...

3. Flock: Yet another browser based on the Mozilla engine....but visit their site Flock...they 'll say they are different from Mozilla. Well, i am using this browser now...I don't find too many dissimilar things between Mozilla and Flock....
but, one good thing is, its got a Blog toolbar...you can type in your name and sign into blogspot without actually going to the site...
You can actually try using this browser...good starting point...

4. Opera: This software was famous for being the 'carry-on-a-floppy' browser...
Big things come in small packages, very true in this case....
It is power packed, its got tabbed browsing, you can skin it.....save passwords...it is pretty fast...and can even override Javascript pages sometimes...
Till recently, it was Paid software....but they seem to have succumbed to the pressure of Mozilla Firefox...and made it free software....I would recommend this browser for a totally new browsing experience...

5. Mozilla Firefox: The God of all browsers....It is fast, mean and works on all platforms....tabbed browsing, a maze of plugins, plethora of skins....makes browsing as easy as possible....and will it ever crash.... possibilities are very very bleak....A highly recommended browser...

Do check out these browsers and have fun!!

Bye,
SilpaKumar
