We are a bunch of friends here not really keen on what Tamil movies we watch -- coz the fact that they are Tamil, begs no further curiosity. We rent 2-3 movies at a time, watch each for about 15 minutes and successfully kill about an hour.

I saw this "movie" recently -- Mayaavi. It wasn't quite typical. Most importantly, the hero doesn't marry the heroine. That could be an excuse if one or both of them die. No deaths either. You'd now be tempted to think, for its the only OTHER excuse, that its an ARTY one. Its not arty either. Given Surya's inclination to take on such unconventional, arty roles, I was tempted to watch this too! But its the same old junk -- only that in this case, the junk is putrified. It stinks! You should watch it though :)
