Just over a day to go for the weekend...It's been a lazy start to the week, actually....
For the whole of Monday and Tuesday, I did not have much work...
On Monday, colleagues at work asked me to draft a mail cum poll for an outstation tour. We were short-listing the locations for the tour. We discussed about Kutraalam, Ooty, Kodaikanal, Elagiri and Coorg. Coorg was withdrawn from the list since it was quite far away and required some time for travel. So, Ooty and Kodaikanal were our final choices. The response for the tour was along expected lines. No girl was interested in coming...we were a relieved lot...
Last year around this time, I had organized a tour to Yercaud.....we had good fun there...of course, no girls on that tour as well. I guess the girls knew what we 'd be upto and decided to abstain from voting.
A bunch of friends here at office have formed a fictitious group called "ABAMK (Agila Bodhai Aikiya Munnani Kazagam)".
Our job: Grab a bottle of beer and settle down in a round table conference.
The poll results were out and here are the statistics....
Total people in 3 projects: > 200
Number of people who voted: 46
People who chose Kodaikanal: 18
People who chose Ooty : 3
And among the 18 who chose Kodai, 14 were honorary members of ABAMK. So Monday went off like this...
Tuesday was again a boring affair...going around everyone's seats asking everyone for money....
Got some work on Wednesday morning...but can't continue the work today because the files were not present on the client's machine.
Yawn....
